Dominica Dementia Foundation

Rianna Patterson is the founder of the Dominica Dementia Foundation. She launched this in memory of her grandfather who passed away with Dementia in 2013.

 

She decided not to pursue law and went on to study Psychology. She graduated with an Associates's Degree in Psychology at the Dominica State College and soon after launched the Dominica Dementia Foundation, at the age of 18 during her gap year. Rianna graduated with a bachelors degree in Psychology in 2020.​

Rianna has delivered dementia training in the Caribbean and the UK at schools and care homes.
