My Story
I am an accredited coach, social entrepreneur, global speaker and mental health advocate. I have openly spoken about my experiences and journey to uncovering my purpose at the tender age of 18 as I founded a youth-led dementia charity in memory of my grandfather in 2016.
In June 2017, I was awarded by her Majesty the Queen as a Queens Young Leader. I was also selected to speak on BBC One Show with Prince Harry during the Queens Young Leader award ceremony.
In 2018, I participated in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting hosted in the UK, attended a panel discussion with HRH Prince William and other global leaders during CHOGM.
In 2019, my grandmother passed away whilst at University. I have shared my experiences in dealing with loss at University on Student Minds. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Kent with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.
I have spoken at various conferences and radio shows and events including, BBC One with Prince Harry at Buckingham Palace, Alzheimer’s Association’s International and the University of Kent as a fellow TEDx speaker on finding the youth in you. I have spoken at the Royal Commonwealth Society Virtual Cyprus Leadership Workshop in 2020. I am a certified #IamRemarkable workshop facilitator. I am also a member of Coaching UK.
I have also spoken at the Alzheimer’s Association of the Caribbean Conference in 2020, on Dementia in COVID Times. I am also leading a virtual dementia support group for families in the UK and Dominica during COVID. I have also spoken to over 300 students in Dominica on respecting their elders.
I use my platform to discuss and advocate for mental health, sustainability, and social-economic issues.
Given the various initiatives and projects I have developed over the last couple of years I am also a brand strategist, helping small companies to understand their values and deliver social impact projects. I can also help with employee wellbeing as I have delivered campaigns to promote mental health in the workplace.
Outside of work, my interests are listening to music, illustrating and journaling.
